DIHE has a dedicated placement committee called ‘POLESTAR’, which follows the principle of KAIZEN-continuous improvement. The committee helps in giving direction to the career of students by developing their personality and placing them in suitable industry. It interacts with diverse industrial houses, multinationals and other establishments for the summer training & final placements. The response received so far has been quite encouraging.

The placement for MBA students is organized from November onwards every year. Companies are invited to deliver pre-placement lectures. Students are selected on the basis of Written, GDs and Interviews.

Leading corporate houses including Globus, Godrej, Bharti AXA, Ritu Wears, Prognosys, Cease Fire, ICICI Prudential, Parle, etc., selected our MBA students this year for Summer Training and Final Placement.

The cell is responsible for:

   * Maintaining regular interaction with the industry through Seminars, Industrial Visits, Conferences and other
      corporate interface events and programmes.
   * Providing requisite skills to students in the area of Personality Mapping and Communication Skills.
   * Organizing inter-cultural exchange on live projects.
   * Developing a resource base through product - specific and industry - specific studies.
   * Updation of curriculum as per changing business requirements.
